Happy 2012!

Well, it looks like we all made it to another year.  Congratulations!  I'm always a little excited at the beginning of a year.  It is like an unopened package.  I wonder what 2012 has in store for us?  2011 was great, and I hope 2012 is even better for you and for us.

This morning we are off to church and then back home to enjoy our traditional New Year's Day meal of black eyed peas, collard greens, and corn bread and maybe a slice of coconut cream pie for dessert (if I can get it made in time.)

Happy New Year!

I'm with you, 2011 was a good year and 2012 is going to be GREAT. Wish I could stop by for that New Year's dinner. Sounds yummy and Coconut Cream pie is one of my favorites.

I am looking fwd to starting a full time RV life with my wife this coming fall. We have been saving and planning for 3 years. I have enjoyed following your blog, and thinking of what sort of adventure My wife and I are going to have. We believe we have found the 5th wheel for us. Arctic Fox 28ft. I believe it is trustworthy enough to handle what we want. We are very much into boon docking. I plan on having a nice as possible solar system installed. My truck , although a bit loud, is a 2001 dodge 2500 with extra leaf spring I installed and Firestone airbags. THE truck has only 85 thousand miles. Love to get a new one, but just to expensive for us right now. Thanks for letting me tag along on your blog. Ken...RXTORV
