Thanks for all of the comments and emails about our new blog format. I think we'll stick with it.
Bill and I wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving, albeit a day early. We will be enjoying a Thanksgiving-for-two this year. And even though it is just the two of us, I have already started cooking.
I've never been a big fan of the canned cranberry sauce, so I am making my own this year. It is on the stove now, and while it doesn't look like Christmas around here, it sure is smelling like it with all of the spices in the cranberry sauce.
The weather here in southeast Arizona could get interesting over the holiday weekend. We are expecting a tropical storm...yes, a tropical storm in southeast Arizona! I thought when we left Florida, we would be leaving those kinds of storms behind. Oh well, as they always say, Arizona needs the rain.
Wherever you are spending Thanksgiving, we wish you the best. And don't forget to take a few minutes, look around, and be thankful for all that you have.
I read something this morning that stuck with me, "We don't need more to be thankful for, we just need to be more thankful."

Love your last paragraph. Have a good Holiday and watch out for the storm surge!
I was gonna comment on your blog. But when I read Larry and Samantha's comment it made me laugh so hard that I forgot what I was gonna say.
I guess you'll have to keep checking the Rip Current warnings along with that storm surge.
