We've Come Full Circle

My first job when entering Yellowstone back in April was to train the people who would be working at Madison Campground. So, these are the first campground folks I had contact with this year, and it appears this will be the last campground folks I will have contact with this year.

We left West Yellowstone KOA and arrived at Madison Campground shortly thereafter. It was great seeing all those folks again. Back during training, I promised them that Bill and I would come and stay with them a few days. I had hoped we could visit during the summer, but time just wouldn't allow it. But, better late than never.

They put us in a terrific site with plenty of elbow room.

After getting set up, we took a walk around the campground. I've worked at Fishing Bridge and Grant, but I must say that Madison is the prettiest of them all. We took a walk on the nice trail along the river, and we ran into these guys.

I must admit, it is nice to be in Yellowstone as a visitor instead of an employee, for a change!
