Yesterday we left Yellowstone and drove all the way to West Yellowstone, MT. We will be working at the KOA for a couple of weeks or so, helping the folks close down the RV park.
We worked here the summer of 2002, our first real workamping job. We're even back in the same RV site!
While in Yellowstone this summer, we visited the KOA just to say hello. We told them if they needed help closing down, we would be available. Well, they called, and here we are.
Bill started working today at 8:00 a.m. He pressured washed about 15 cabins throughout the day. I came on at 1:00 and helped a group of guys stain the just-pressured-washed cabins. I had never really done a lot of staining before, but I sure know how now.
I must admit, staining cabins is a nice break from "in your face" guest service. There was no one whining about his campsite and no one requesting a lake view site. Ahhhhh! See, there is life after Yellowstone!
